on this route should only be done after consultation with the tour
guide. From the top of this mountain you will be able to see the immense
landscape that surrounds you looking far into the north east corners of
the Rum desert.

intersects the Saudi Arabian border. This again is a very easy climb for
anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. We will
take you up from the east side of the mountain (Um Snenah) Valley, and
go through the valet to the top. Then we will take you down by a
different route from the North West side of the mountain by Wadi Nuqra
in total taking approximately 5 hours. This is probably the most
beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to scramble on, because as you arrive at
the highest point which will 1700m above sea level you will sea all the
different colour that encapsulate the Wadi Rum especially in a northerly
direction.
Jebel UM ADAMI
The location of Jebel UM ADAMI is exactly at the border between Jordan
and Saudi Arabia. The intersection of the border cuts the mountain into
two halves, but we are lucky to have the summit on our side. The summit
is a staggering 1800 m above sea level and this is the highest point in
the whole of Jordan. We will hike up to the top from the northeast side,
and from there you will be able to sea the amazing Saudi Arabian desert
in the horizon. If the sky is clear the clear blue waters of the Read
Sea (Aqaba) can also be seen. Only a few guides will actually do this
hike due to the rich number of wide life that inhabit this mountain
especially foxes, rabbets and gazelles. This is most break taking view
you can have and you will feel a sense of achievement and accomplishment
by the time you reach the summit and allow your eyes to feast on the
magnificent landscape.
